Hi! My name is Dawn Speidel and I am the 4th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. This is my second year at Imagine, but my 19th year teaching. For all of the previous 17 years I taught in a classroom for children with disabilities. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from West Liberty State College and my two Master’s Degrees from the University of Dayton and West Virginia University.
I have been married for 17 years to my husband, Jamison, and have a son, Joey, who is 12 and in the 7th grade and a daughter, Sarah, who is 11 years old and in 6th grade. I also have my furry baby, Max, who is a 5 year old pure bred beagle and our Syrian hamster, Peanut.
In my time outside of work, I coach my daughter’s softball team, help out with my son’s baseball team and Boy Scout troop. When I am not running around to a million different activities with my kids, I love to relax at home with a good book on my iPad. I am very excited to be here at Imagine with an amazing group of people. This is going to be a GREAT year! We are Imagine!
